Sigma Chi Leadership Programs
Sigma Chi's vision is to be the preeminent collegiate leadership development organization aligned, focused, and living our core ideals of friendship, justice, and learning. As such, Sigma Chi International services our members with several leadership programs designed to help you identify who you are, who you want to be, and how to get there:
Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop (TLW)
The Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop (TLW) is Sigma Chi's annual summer conference where undergraduate chapter leaders from the United States and Canada convene to learn and practice skills that they can implement at their home chapters during the upcoming academic year. Krach TLW is sponsored through grant funding by the Sigma Chi Foundation and the Risk Management Foundation.. Learn more here.
Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit
The Horizons Huntsman Leadership Summit is a challenging and proven leadership development program specifically created for Sigma Chi underclassmen who are eager and willing to improve themselves and their world. At Horizons, undergraduates experience a six-day immersion in whole-brain learning that engages both mind and body.
During the experience, participants explore the inner territories of leadership. Horizons participants learn how a person's leadership is directly linked to his values and character; how to incorporate high-minded values into a lifelong practice of leadership; and how to discover and utilize his talents to reach his full potential. Journey is a brotherhood retreat aimed at promoting fellowship between our members. Like all Sigma Chi programs, Journey emphasizes values-based decision making and living the values espoused in our Ritual. Learn more here.
In addition to the above mentioned programs, Sigma Chi offers leadership programs and opportunities to alumni, hosts bi-annual legislative meetings such as Grand Chapter and Grand Council, and offers a recruitment educational known as Mission 365. Sigma Chi is also developing suicide-prevention and anti-hazing programs to be implemented through individual chapters.
