What is House Corp?

House Corporation is the entity that holds the deed to the Sigma Chi House. Registered as a non-profit organization, House Corp. collects rent, pays utilities and property taxes, makes loan payments, and funds vital repairs, renovations, and maintenance to the chapter house.

House Corp. is made up of a dedicated group of your fellow alumni who volunteer their time to ensure the House remains a safe and sanitary place to live and to visit.
House Corp. accepts donations which are used only to fund necessary repairs and upkeep to the Sigma Chi House. If you would like to know how you can assist House Corp. in fulfilling it's mission, contact president Paul Anast at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or make a gift here.

Unfortunately, donations to House Corporation are not tax deductible as we do not fall under 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code (we're exempt from taxes but your donations are not). There is an effort by the Fraternity and Sorority Political Action Committee to change this, which you can learn more about here. You can make tax-deductible donations to the Charles C. Gilbert | Jordan Standard Scholarship and/or the Sampson Leadership Fund (both of which benefit Iota Omicron through the WIU Foundation) by contacting Chuck Gilbert at This email address is being protected from spambots.
